Mr K and the patriarchs
Mr K and the patriarchs
In this piece, three grotesque faces stare at the viewer.
The Ring master runs the show.He stares, unmoved through his glassy eyes, his fixed smile demonstrates his indifference at the circus animal’s suffering.
The policeman is in charge of law and order. His eyebrows raised as he questions the onlooker. He menacingly wields a club in his hand.
The academic looks down his nose at the observer, his mouth downturned with a well rehearsed smugness. He is wearing his graduation cap and gown. One cannot question his views on the world as he is an intellectual.
These men are in charge, they are all powerful in their various fields, they lord over others with their authority.
